It's called the Artillery, and it comes from our good old Calvert Party Encyclopedia, circa 1960. Just the thing for when your estranged husband says kids are cooking bacon for tonight's quickie, after-work bacon lettuce and tomato sandwiches. Delivers quite a salvo.
1 jigger (1 and 1/2 ounces) gin
1/2 jigger (3/4 ounce) sweet vermouth
dashes Angostura bitters
Mix well in a mixing glass with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass.
