Rather more delicate than other ports of my acquaintance (possibly it's the "fine dry finish"), but still so very good.
I only regret having wasted a jigger of it -- 1 and 1/2 ounces -- in a cocktail that had always intrigued me, besides seeming a virtuous way of using up the egg yolks left from Healthy Person's morning's egg white omelettes, -- but that turned out to be dreadful and purple. Try it at your own risk.
Porto flip
Throw out.
Cockburn Special Reserve porto, retail, about $17.00
